Controller

Telyon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our finance team. As the Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, with a specific focus on the C&I solar sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C&I solar financials, along with exceptional leadership and analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and external stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive budgets and forecasts for various projects and departments within the C&I solar division. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency improvement. Work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing working capital. Implement strategies to maximize cash efficiency and minimize financial risk.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives, including pricing strategies, investment decisions, and performance evaluations. Provide insights into key financial metrics and trends.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal policies. Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve departmental goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in financial management, with a focus on C&I solar projects as a plus.
- Strong understanding of C&I solar financials, including project economics, tax incentives, and financing structures is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity in all financial activities.
